Different linings have distinct qualities in terms of light control, privacy and texture. Choose according to your room, lifestyle and taste.
Unlined Linen
Soft, airy light filtering with minimal privacy. Perfect for kitchens, sunrooms, or multi-layered designs where natural light is desired.
Cotton Lining
Structured and breathable. These drapes block about 30–40% of light, providing moderate privacy. Ideal for living rooms and dining rooms.
50% Blackout
Available in light colors. Adds volume while softly dimming the light. Great for bedrooms and nurseries.
80% Blackout
High privacy and precise light control. Perfect for bedrooms and media rooms where you want to reduce glare and create a calm atmosphere.
100% Blackout
Complete darkness and maximum privacy. Best for bedrooms, nurseries, or anyone sensitive to light.
Thermal/Soundproof
Blocks all light, insulates against temperature and noise. Ideal for street-facing rooms or drafty windows.

Breathable
Lightweight linen fabric provides excellent air circulation and doesn't trap dust and allergens like heavier materials. This makes it a smart choice for people with allergies or sensitive skin, ensuring your room remains fresh and comfortable throughout the year.
Low Maintenance
Linen curtains don't require special care and retain their fresh appearance without much effort. They are less prone to staining and don't need to be washed frequently.
Light and Noise Control
The curtains let in natural light. For additional blackout or insulation, you can choose blackout and thermal/soundproof linings.
Made to Last
Linen is a durable fabric. It doesn’t fade easily, retains its shape and doesn't wear out from daily use. It’s also naturally mildew-resistant, making it a smart choice for rooms with high humidity.

How To Measure
Measuring for the length:
- Measure from the point where the curtain will hang to the place where you wish to see the bottom of your curtain. If using rings, measure from the bottom of the rings to ensure an accurate drop.
Measuring for the width:
- For a softly gathered appearance, multiply the width of your window by 1.5. For more structured headings, such as Wavefold or Pinch Pleat, we recommend multiplying by 2 to achieve the desired fullness. Adjust further according to your preferred look and heading style.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it possible to obtain swatches to check the color?
Sure, here is the link you may use for placing:
https://3hlinen.com/products/linen-fabric-samples
The fabric swatches are sold in a pre-set color bundle, so you get 20 to 25 colors that are available now.
Are these priced for a single panel or a set of 2?
Can you give me a sense of how much light is blocked by a natural curtain with cotton lining?
Cotton lining adds privacy and filters about 50% of sunlight, making it a great choice for softly diffused light. If you require full sun blocking or complete darkness, blackout curtains are the more effective option.
What's the difference between Light Weight, Medium Weight, and Heavy Weight?
- Light-weight (3.38 oz/yd²) is the most relaxed and airy. It's a great choice if you want something that feels light and breathable.
- Medium-weight (4.42 oz/yd²) is a bit denser than light-weight and has a more prominent texture. It offers a nice balance of drape and structure.
- Heavy-weight (8.44 oz/yd²) is the most dense and texturized. It's also the most durable and the least see-through of the three.
Can I order a curtain rod from your company?
Yes, please contact us, and we will help you choose the best option for you.
What is the return policy for 3HLinen custom orders?
Custom orders are not eligible for return and refund unless there was a mistake on the company's side.
What is the estimated delivery time for an order?
Here are the available options:
Option 1: One business day for production and 1-3 days for shipping within the U.S. To choose this option, please select "Expedited Delivery" (UPS, DHL, etc.) at checkout.
Option 2: Normal production takes 2-5 days, with shipping taking 2-7 days. For this option, select "Standard Shipping" (FedEx) at checkout, which takes 5-7 business days. You will get your item within 2 weeks.
The total time from order to delivery will depend on your chosen shipping method.
Which curtains do I choose that are compatible with a curtain track?
If you wish to install the curtains on a curtain track, then have a look at the curtains with the heading tape: All Pleated Headings, Multiway Heading, S-fold.
Headings like tab tops, back tabs, rod pockets and eyelets will work perfectly with curtain rods.
