US Privacy Requests
Last updated:
Three Trading Group Incorporated DBA 3HLinen ("we," "us," "our") operates the online store at 3hlinen.com. This page explains how to exercise your privacy rights and what happens after you submit a request.
We extend these rights to all United States residents, regardless of the state you live in. The specific rights available to you depend on your state of residence and applicable law.
Looking to stop tracking or targeted advertising?
You do not need this page. Opting out of the sale and sharing of your personal information is immediate and requires no verification — go to Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Your rights
- Right to know — confirm whether we process your personal information, and obtain the categories we collect, the sources we collect them from, the purposes we use them for, and the categories of third parties we disclose them to.
- Right to access — receive a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you, including account details and order history.
- Right to correct — have inaccurate personal information corrected.
- Right to delete — have your personal information deleted, subject to the exceptions described below.
- Right to portability — receive your personal information in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
- Right to appeal — if we decline your request, you may appeal.
How to submit a request
Email privacy@3hlinen.com.
To help us find your records and confirm the request is really from you, please include:
- The right you want to exercise — know, access, correct, delete, or portability
- The email address you used to place an order or subscribe to our emails
- An order number, or the approximate date and amount of a recent order
If you are asking us to correct information, tell us what is inaccurate and what it should say.
We will not ask you for a government ID, a photograph, or a copy of any document. We will only ask you to confirm information we already hold. We use anything you send us solely to process your request and delete it afterwards.
You do not need to create an account to make a request.
What happens next
- Acknowledgement. We confirm receipt within 10 business days and tell you how we will handle the request.
- Verification. We match the details you gave us against our records. If we cannot match them, we will come back to you once for clarification.
- Response. We respond substantively within 45 days of receiving your request. If we need more time, we will tell you within those 45 days and may extend by a further 45 days, explaining why.
There is no charge. If a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, or if you make repeated requests, we may charge a reasonable fee or decline — and we will explain why if we do.
When we may not be able to delete everything
Some information has to be kept even after a deletion request. This includes:
- Records of completed orders, which we retain to meet tax and accounting obligations
- Information needed to complete a transaction you asked for, or to provide a warranty
- Information needed to detect security incidents or protect against fraud
- Information we are required to keep by law
Where an exception applies, we delete everything else and tell you what we kept and why.
Where we cannot completely erase information, we may instead de-identify or aggregate it so that it can no longer be connected to you. Information held in backups is isolated from use and removed when those backups are next restored or overwritten.
Where we have shared your information with advertising platforms, we remove you from the audiences we control and instruct those platforms to delete the information they hold. Each platform also offers its own data deletion tools, and we will point you to them on request.
If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your marketing records, we keep a minimal suppression record — normally a one-way hash of your email address or mobile number — so that we do not contact you again by mistake. This is the standard way of honouring an opt-out and is permitted.
Authorized agents
You may authorize someone else to submit a request for you. Please have them email privacy@3hlinen.com with written proof that you authorized them to act on your behalf. We may also ask you to confirm the authorization directly.
If we decline your request
Reply to our response with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line, or email privacy@3hlinen.com with that subject line. We will review the decision and respond within 45 days, explaining the outcome.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the appeal, you may complain to the attorney general of your state.
