Can I Get Bedding in the Same Color as My Green Blackout Curtains?
Our bedding is available in the same colors as our blackout curtains. If you want to make sure you order both in the same color, you can add both types of the same color to your cart.
Are Your Green Blackout Curtains True Blackout Curtains or Just Room-Darkening?
It depends on what type of lining you choose. We have several blackout linings available. For example, our 80% lining will significantly darken your room, yet let some sun in. As long as hung properly, our 100% blackout curtains will keep your room dark all night long.
Does the Blackout Lining Affect the Appearance of the Green Color?
The lining is on the back of the curtain, separate from the front. In other words, it will not affect its appearance.
Will the Green Color Look Darker With a Blackout Lining?
Due to the curtains being thick and the lining being on the back, the colors won’t look darker.
Are the Front and Back the Same Color?
No; the back contains a lining that is a different color, which depends on what type of blackout lining you order. For example, our 50% and 100% blackout lining will be in white, 80% in cappuccino, and thermal/soundproof in silver-grey.
Are Green Blackout Curtains Good for Bedrooms?
These curtains are perfect for bedrooms, as they provide privacy and keep your room dark when the sun is trying to come in. They’re excellent for people who want to sleep in a little, or for third shift workers.
Are Green Blackout Curtains Suitable for Nurseries?
Yes! They will prevent light from coming in and waking your baby. Thermal blackout curtains can also regulate the temperature, making them ideal for summers and winters where the extreme temperatures may disturb your baby’s sleep.
Are Green Blackout Curtains Too Dark for Small Rooms?
It depends on the shade of green and the furniture. White walls and light furniture can contrast well with a darker green curtain, like our forest green or moss green shades.
How Many Curtain Panels Do I Need for Full Blackout Coverage?
It depends on the panel size. Always measure your window frame, and get something that is long enough to cover your windows. Your panel should be 1.5 to 2.5 times the size of the frame for complete coverage.
Do I Need Extra Width for Better Light Blocking?
That would be a great idea. You’ll want the total width of your curtains to be a little more than your window frame, ideally twice the width.
Does the Curtain Header Affect How Well the Curtains Block Light?
It can. For example, ring-based grommet headers will let light seep in if the curtain is not mounted high enough. Always measure from the window frame to the bottom of your window, then add some extra inches if your header may affect the blocking of light. The best option to avoid any light leakage is pleated curtains with a ceiling track.
Are Green Blackout Curtains Machine Washable or Dry Clean Only?
Our curtains are intended to be dry-cleaned only.
