How to Hang the Pleated Curtain, How to Space the Hooks
We are often approached by our customers with the question of how to gather the pleated curtain, what gathering ratio to choose, and how far from each other to space the hooks. Hope this video will help to answer these questions as well as will give an idea about how to measure for the pleated curtain. I'm hanging my curtain on rings and hooks in this video, but pleated curtains are also perfect for tracks, you will just don't require the rings and will insert the hooks directly into the track runners.

How To Measure
- Measuring for the length:
If you have a curtain track:
measure from the bottom of your track to the place where you wish to see the bottom of your curtain.
If you have a curtain rod and rings:
measure from the bottom of the curtain ring to the place where you wish to see the bottom of your curtain - Measuring for the width:
Watch the video on the product page. Measure the window/door width, then multiply it by 1.5. You will get the total width you need for the curtains.
Consider whether you wish one curtain panel or a pair to cover the window. Having 2 curtain panels is more common for standard cases.
Example: the width 49" is for a not gathered panel. When fully gathered with Pencil-pleat tape the panel width becomes 33".
Washing/caring tips
- Dry clean your curtains if they have a lining
- Do not bleach
- Air drying is the best for your curtains
- Lightly iron if necessary with a low heat setting

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it possible to obtain swatches to check color?
Sure, here is the link you may use for placing:
https://3hlinen.com/products/linen-fabric-samples
The fabric swatches are sold in a pre-set color bundle, so you get 20 to 25 colors that are available now :)
Are these priced for a single panel or a set of 2?
All our curtains are sold separately, so the price is indicated for a single curtain. If you wish a pair - please paste 2 in the field "Quantity" while checkout :)
What's the difference between Natural and Natural Heavy Weight
The natural medium-weight fabric (150 gms) is more relaxed and airy compared to natural heavy-weight (280 gms) which is more dense and texturized. Heavy-weight fabric is also less seen through.
Can you give me a sense of how much light is blocked by a natural curtain with the cotton lining?
We recommend adding the cotton lining to increase privacy. It will block about 50 % of the sun light.
Shall you need sun blocking - blackout curtains are the better choice to go with.
