Which Curtains Do I Choose That Are Compatible With a Curtain Track?

Generally, a linen curtain panel with a pinch pleat, fold or wave, or tape heading will be your best bet. A ceiling track will make drawing your linen curtains easy and also give your room an airy feel anytime.

Are the Curtains Sold as a Single Panel or a Set of 2?

Our linen curtains are sold individually. If you want a set of two, simply increase the quantity in your cart.

Can Your Linen Curtains Be Customized?

Yes. We know that a linen curtain panel may need to be a specific size, so we offer custom-made curtains to fit your living room, bedroom, dining room, or another area’s needs.

Which Rod Size Works With Your Linen Curtains?

Generally, a rod with a 1” to 1⅛” diameter will work well. However, a thinner diameter may work if you want a more delicate look. It also depends on what type of curtain you choose. You can contact us, and we can help you find the best rod for the job.

What Are the Available Width Options for the Curtains?

It depends on what type of curtain you are purchasing. Our standard options range from 49” to 100”. Meanwhile, our sliding door curtains go up to 380”. That being said, if our shop doesn’t have the curtain width you are looking for, we offer customized width curtains.

Do the Back Tab Curtains Require Rings?

Rings on back tab linen curtains can give your curtains extra movement. However, they are not needed. These curtains will come with hidden fabric loops, which you can then slide over the curtain rod with relative ease.

What Lining Options Are Available for the Curtains?

Lining options include unlined option, 80% to 100% linen blackout curtains, thermal/soundproof/total light filtering. You can also opt for sheer linen curtains. Please note that these options can change the curtain’s weight and price.

What Is the Difference Between the Natural and Natural Heavyweight Linen Curtains?

Our natural medium-weight fabric is 150 gsm, which gives the curtains a more relaxed, airy atmosphere. Meanwhile, our heavyweight curtains at 280 gsm will give it a dense, natural texture. Another difference is how see-through they are. Medium-weight linen drapes will allow for some more natural light to be let in. Meanwhile, our heavyweight curtains give more privacy and thus more light control. They also create a sophisticated backdrop for any room.

How to Measure for Curtains?

With curtain width, you’ll want to multiply your curtain rod width by 1.5-2.5. Measure the rod from left to right, and exclude the finials. For length, measure from the rod or track to your preferred endpoint. Generally, a rod 4-6 inches above the window, with an inch at the bottom for clearance, will work well. That said, these rules are not concrete, and it can depend on your needs.

What Is the Standard Pocket Size for Linen Rod Pocket Curtains?

The standard size is generally 3”, which will work for any rod with a diameter of 1.5” to 2.5” in diameter.

What Is the Weight of Your Linen Curtains?

The weight ultimately depends on thickness, lining, size, and many other factors. For an average standard size curtain panel (49”Wx96”L,) an unlined linen mediumweight is one pound. Meanwhile,  linen mediumweight + 80% blackout weighs 2.56 lbs. Finally, a heavyweight thermal/soundproof curtain is 4.81 lbs.

What Rod Thickness Can the Hidden Tab/Back Tab Curtains Accommodate?

Our curtains can generally handle a rod thickness of up to 1.5”. However, if you’re unsure if your rod will fit, contact us. We would be happy to help you determine if the linen curtain panel is right for your rod. We also can make custom rod pocket sizes that can fit any dimensions.

What Is the Fabric Weight of the Sheer Linen Curtains?

Our linen sheer curtains average at 90 gsm ( 2.66 oz/yd².) A standard panel size is 49"Wx90"L with a weight of 0.60 lb. This will give your room beauty while also not weighing it down.

Do Your Linen Curtains Come With Rods for Hanging?

No. However, we can help you find the best rod for your linen curtains based on pole pocket size, width, and other factors.

What Material Is the Blackout Layer on the Linen Curtains?

Our blackout lining is made from polyester, with some variants having an acrylic blend as well. This blackout lining material ensures that you’ll have the best light filtering for your living room, kids’ room, dining room, or bedroom.

How to Clean and Wash Your Linen Curtains?

The best way to clean our window treatments is through dry cleaning. If you need to iron your curtains, you can dampen them slightly. However, this is only for aesthetic appeal, as no ironing is required for our linen drapes.

Are Linen Curtains See-Through at Night?

It depends on what you purchase. Our sheer linen curtains will be easy to see-through, while the medium and heavyweight linen curtains will add some privacy. Also, our linings can add even more privacy while filtering out natural light. For example, we have 100% light filtering curtains and curtains with soundproofing.

Are Linen Curtains Suitable for All Rooms?

Yes, and we have different styles, sizes and linings that work well for any type of room. We have small curtains for the dining room, privacy linings for a kids’ room or bathroom, soundproofing for your office or living room, and much more.

What Are the Different Hanging Options for Linen Curtains?

There are several hanging options you can choose from. We have back tab, rod pocket or pole pocket, S-fold, grommet, tab top, pencil pleat, pinch pleat, or top ties.

Do You Use Real Linen, a Linen Blend, or Faux-Linen Polyester in Your Curtains?

We use 100% natural European linen fabric for our curtains. No linen-cotton blend, or any other combination. Sometimes, the perfect blend is no blend at all. Your curtains will look gorgeous and last a long time, whether you’re hanging them in your living room or dining area.

What Is the Best Way to Hang Your Linen Curtains?

Generally, the best way to hang your graceful drape is to measure first. You’ll want to mount the rod 6-12 inches above your window frame, or close to your ceiling. You’ll also want 10-14 inches of extra width. This will help cover your window and give it a gorgeous look. Ring clips, or hooks with a hook belt style ensures you can hang your elegant drape with ease.

Can Your Linen Curtains Be Used on Tracks?

Yes, some of our linen curtains come with tape, headings, or S-folds. This ensures an effortless style to your room that is easy to pull back when needed.
